Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, organization, and direction of the activities of the Grocery Department.
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising programs to increase sales.
  • Maintain effective control of department labor and inventory in line with established budgets and guidelines.
  • Conduct the receiving, storing, pricing, and merchandising of all grocery products.
  • Maintain a high level of coordination and communication with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of products and service throughout the store and within the grocery operation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
