Your Growth Path:
In the role of Operations Supervisor, you will manage daily operations for Third Party Contractor services, ensuring the efficient functioning of all business facets. This position entails optimizing workflows, overseeing resource allocation, and enhancing operational efficiency, particularly in the integration of software updates into control units before their deployment in our assembly facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, strategic insight, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Participate in weekly team discussions to review project specifics and assess forthcoming work requirements, fostering active engagement in decision-making and problem-solving processes.
- Oversee the management of established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined by our partners.
- Communicate with partners regarding any issues related to components or processes, escalating concerns to management when necessary.
- Deliver Daily Activity Reports during team meetings or at the start of shifts.
- Develop and oversee corrective measures concerning personnel discipline.
- Maintain an updated staff directory to promote transparency and facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Accountable for providing accurate information during audits and addressing any identified discrepancies.
- Assist in generating production downtime reports related to software management, including root cause analysis and the development of corrective actions.
- Ensure the maintenance and assembly of flash adapters to support production volume.
- Authorize time-off requests for contractor personnel.
- During periods of reduced staffing, assist with software updates and material management.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- At least 5 years of experience in vehicle electrical systems and electronics.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software updates, either bench-based or in-vehicle.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret and understand wiring diagrams.
- Experience in a management or team leadership role.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Python programming is preferred.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing processes is advantageous.
- Background in business case analysis is a plus.
- Experience with SAP is beneficial.
