About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our medical team at Central Maine Healthcare. As a Physician Assistant in our Urgent Care department, you will play an essential role in delivering direct and indirect patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing health status, developing and implementing interventions, and collaborating with the clinical team to evaluate patient responses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a champion of the patient experience
  • Engage patients using exceptional customer service practices
  • Perform physical examinations and document patient visits in electronic medical records
  • Interpret subjective and objective data to formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and order diagnostic laboratory tests as needed
  • Provide patient education and counseling on disease processes, test results, and preventative healthcare

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
