As an MRI Technologist at SSM Health, you will operate a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters, and ensuring the accuracy of images.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and positions patients for MRI examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Selects anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality images.
- Enters and monitors patient data, transferring images to the PACS system.
- Administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations.
- Ensures equipment is properly functioning, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintains a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements:
- Completion of a radiology program.
- ARRT-MR certification.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
