Baptist Health Care is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our department and providing high-quality radiologic diagnosis to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the care and maintenance of Diagnostic Radiology equipment and supplies.
- Set up and adjust Diagnostic Radiology equipment per radiologist protocol for exams.
- Operate highly complex radiographic equipment, selecting technical factors to ensure high-quality radiographs.
- Relay on extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain the maximum diagnostic image.
- Receive and review requests for radiologic studies, assess patient condition, and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Administer medications under the direction of a physician and perform various clerical duties.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Associates Degree in Radiology Required.
- Certified Radiology Technologist Licensed State of Florida Upon Hire Required.
- Registered Technologist (ARRT) Board Registry Upon Hire Required.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS) American Heart Association within 90 Days Required.
- Must be able to multitask daily.
- Possesses knowledge of filing systems, telephone etiquette, and customer service.
- Computer skills.
- Medical terminology.
- Must be available for on-call status, as needed, after normal operating hours.
