The Certified Medical Assistant in the Clinic is accountable for performing duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices and competency.


Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families
Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care

Requirements:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma
Six or more years in a healthcare setting and/or Medical Assisting
Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT), or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association

Work Schedule:
Clinic hours: 8:00am-5:00pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks
