Estimated Salary Range:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Job Description:
- Provide routine daily nursing care to residents, including vital sign checks, wound dressing, and catheter insertion.
- Listen to residents and their families, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Accurately document resident progress notes and timely report changes in condition to supervisors.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and ensure they are following established procedures.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and monitor residents at risk for falls.
- Collect lab samples and adhere to Infection Control policies.
- Participate in annual facility training programs and complete assignments as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Completion of LVN training from an accredited school or college.
- Valid LVN license in good standing.
- Valid CPR and BLS certification.
- IV Certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience.
- Able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
- Ability to use a computer or tablet to enter resident data.
Working Conditions:
- May encounter frequent interruptions.
- May be involved with residents, family, and government agencies.
- May be requested to work beyond scheduled hours at times.
- Subject to call-back during emergency conditions.
- Exposure to odors, dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoking, or air contaminants.
- Exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc.
