About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Underground Transmission Line Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing underground transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of underground transmission line projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and review engineering deliverables, including material lists, construction details, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with other discipline leads, project managers, vendors, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Mentor and provide technical support to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
  • University degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years of related engineering experience, with a focus on underground transmission lines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trenchless technologies, such as horizontal directional drilling and micro-tunnelling.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidiscipline design team.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the United States is mandatory.
