Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Conduct thorough observations and assessments to develop nursing diagnoses and care plans.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Health Promotion: Engage in health teaching and counseling to support patient recovery and wellness.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a Med-Surg environment.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Current Florida State Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Strong critical thinking skills and excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
