Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new systems and features using Python, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Review and improve our current system architecture and code implementation following best practices.
  • Collaborate with end-users, business analysts, and quality assurance to plan and develop user stories.
  • Contribute to planning meetings and work with BA and QA to refine and size user stories.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of engineering experience in Python, with strong proficiency in related packages such as Flask, FastAPI, and Django.
  • Expertise in automated testing and experience with frameworks like PyTest or Unittest.
  • 3+ years technical experience in Microsoft Azure, including serverless application architectures and Azure Functions.
  • Agile mindset and XP development practices, including refactoring, pair programming, TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and Evolutionary System Architecture.
  • Strong use of version control using git-based systems.
