About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in gynecological oncology to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and provide patient care, following hospital policies and procedures, applicable state nursing practice acts, ANA standards of practice, and generic and unit structure standards. You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, and provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Performing comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of patients, following standards of care and disease-specific protocols.
  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • Providing direct nursing care and supervising non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
  • Providing education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporating patient/family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Registered Nurse Diploma, Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date, ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider or ONS Chemo/Biotherapy Fundamentals Provider certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
