Product Stacker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Stacker to join our team at Smithfield Foods. As a Product Stacker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe stacking of products in our warehouse.

• Inspect and stack product according to product code or load number
• Virtually inspect pallets and use only those in good condition
• Stack unusable pallets off to the side and use cardboard sheets to cover each pallet
• Wrap pallets using cardboard corners and transport them to designated areas
• Police the area to maintain a clean and debris-free environment
• Follow safe lifting and bending techniques and proper job rotation

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented

The work environment will include wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, and exposure to chemicals. The noise level can be moderate to loud. You will be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.

Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
