Pharmacy Assistant

CVS Health is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Associate Rx. As a key member of our Pharmacy and Front Store Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that each customer has a positive shopping experience at CVS and provides exceptional customer service.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting each customer in a courteous and professional manner, assisting with their questions and concerns, and requesting additional help when needed to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Process prescriptions, including translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting and measuring drugs, capping and uncapping vials and bottles, labeling of prescriptions, and resolving Third Party rejections and completing any manual claim forms.
• Perform all register transactions, including cash, check, and charge transactions, and bag merchandise upon completion of sale.
• Participate in all required store operational meetings, maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy department, and access, input, and retrieve information to/from the computer.
• Assist front store operations when needed, including operating a cash register, following company policies and procedures regarding cash register performance, and requesting additional help when needed to increase customer satisfaction.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Licensure requirements vary by state.
• Must have the ability to perform the following tasks: customer service, operations, inventory management, and human resources.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Required Qualifications continued: front store activities, including operating a cash register, following company policies and procedures regarding cash register performance, and requesting additional help when needed to increase customer satisfaction.
