Objective:
The Oncology Program Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and enhancing client satisfaction for patient support initiatives within the oncology sector. This position acts as a primary liaison, focusing on improving service delivery through collaborative strategies that benefit both the organization and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships, serving as a key communication point.
- Develop and sustain partnerships with key stakeholders, including clients, external vendors, and internal teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for enhancements.
- Serve as the internal expert on client needs, facilitating communication with program leadership to drive success.
- Conduct account and reporting analyses, proactively suggesting improvements to client support and data delivery.
- Collaborate with program managers on content creation, providing feedback and participating in formal presentations to ensure high-quality quarterly business reviews.
- Understand business objectives and Patient Service Center (PSC) goals to effectively represent the organization in client discussions.
- Oversee the development of solutions to monitor program metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with internal teams to align with the client's long-term strategy, ensuring successful client retention and growth.
- Ensure the implementation of the program's Statement of Work (SOW), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Engage other PSC leadership to explore new business opportunities and enhance partnerships.
- Work with department heads to ensure exceptional project quality and timely completion within budget.
- Communicate project status and execute tactical plans effectively to clients, clarifying roles and responsibilities.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of client contracts and manage compliance across programs.
- Recruit, train, and onboard program leadership staff to support operational needs.
- Collaborate with program managers to oversee profitability management, including staffing and invoicing.
- Monitor program operations to ensure adherence to plans, policies, and service level agreements.
- Identify training needs within the account team to meet client objectives.
- Proactively address any client or team issues that may pose a business risk.
- Maintain quality control on assigned accounts and assist in audit preparations.
- Participate in prospective client meetings as required.
- Engage in additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5-7+ years of experience in oncology within a healthcare leadership role, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Strong business analytics skills to understand market drivers and develop business plans.
- Knowledge of pharmacy reimbursement and medical benefits.
- Experience with large healthcare provider sites and pharmacy teams.
- Advanced management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills focused on client satisfaction.

- Proficient in managing multiple key accounts and prioritizing business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree (PharmD or MSN) preferred.
- Experience with pharmacy hub services.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
- Experience in oncology/hematology pharmaceutical account management.
- Knowledge of specialty product launches.
- Understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry's competitive landscape.
