Job Title: Direct Support Specialist/Caregiver

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Specialist/Caregiver to join our team at The Arc Lexington. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Assist with daily activities and promote independence.
  • Manage medications and maintain accurate records.
  • Create a supportive and caring environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Monitor progress and advocate for the individuals you support.

Requirements:

  • A valid New York State (NYS) Driver's license and two years of driving experience are required.
