We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at American Health Communities. As a member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and residents.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supervising nursing aides and support staff, and performing administrative duties. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients and residents.
Responsibilities- Provide personalized health care to residents, including prescribed treatments and procedures
- Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff
- Perform administrative duties, such as documenting assessments and managing inventory
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed
- Perform emergency procedures, such as CPR
- Currently licensed in the state of Tennessee as a Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, shift changes, and weekends
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
