Sustainability and Resilience Specialist

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability and Resilience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in planning, organizing, and coordinating deliverables associated with the implementation of vulnerability assessments and preparation of action plans for critical infrastructure in Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage projects and project tasks, organizing project deliverables, quality control of deliverables, and working between client, project managers, and other project team members.
• Prepare action evaluating project alternatives for critical infrastructure or assets.
• Provide assistance to clients seeking, applying for, and implementing state-funded projects.
• Lead technical solutions for alternative infrastructure solutions.
• Lead and participate in stakeholder outreach and education events via in-person (throughout the state), webinars, and phone.
• Develop reports, memos, presentations, marketing materials, and other deliverables.
• Coordinate GIS-based asset management tools between clients and GIS developers.
• Assist clients with implementation of resiliency and adaptation plans.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree preferred in Natural Resources, Economics, Resiliency/Sustainability, Planning, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience with aquatic environments, including IRL and Lake work Lagoon.
• Community outreach and stakeholder engagement for aquatic resources, water resource infrastructure, or public asset management.
• Professional experience in water resource and infrastructure, resiliency and sustainability planning, or other related services.
• Professional experience related to asset management of critical public infrastructure.
• Highly motivated with strong organizational skills and excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to keep multiple tasks organized and work independently with initiative and follow-through on direction given by members of project team.
• Excellent communication skills.
