We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Epileptologist to join our team at West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching medical students and residents, and contributing to our growing surgical epilepsy program.
Key Responsibilities- Practice child neurology with a special emphasis in pediatric epileptology
- Provide clinical duties, including outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and staffing the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Participate in professional reads of EEGs and contribute to our surgical epilepsy program
- Teach medical students and residents
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility to obtain a state medical license
- Board certification/eligibility in Child Neurology and Epilepsy
- Leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and publications in high-impact journals for Associate Professor or Professor rank
