We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at SNCH. As a key member of our IV Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for the nursing care provided to a selected number of patients, considering their stage of development and life cycle.
- Diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems through case-finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being.
- Must complete in-house orientation program.
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Professional Nursing (BSN is preferred).
- Must complete annual mandatory in-service education (Hospital/Nursing).
- Speaks, reads, and writes English.
- Clinical experience/skills relevant to the assigned area of practice.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care environment required.
- Minimum one year Infusion/Vascular experience in hospital or home care.
- Current and valid New York State registration authorizing practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- BLS.
- ACLS.
- Frequent, prolonged standing/walking.
- Frequent lifts, positions, and/or transfers patients/equipment.
- Personal Protective Equipment worn.
