Job Title: Developmental Basketball Coach

At LOS GATOS COMMUNITY, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Developmental Basketball Coach to join our team. As a key member of our basketball academy, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our young athletes in developing their skills and passion for the game.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to improve player skills and teamwork.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging training sessions, clinics, and camps.
  • Work closely with our Head Basketball Coach to ensure alignment with our program goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with players, parents, and staff.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all participants.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience coaching youth basketball, preferably at the middle school or high school level.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of basketball rules, regulations, and strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, NFHS Coaching, Cardiac Arrest, and Concussion.
