Job Summary

The Associate Director of Transportation Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the planning, direction, and management of the University's fleet operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in fleet management, transportation services, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize vehicle utilization, reduce costs, and improve safety.
  • Lead a team of professionals in managing the acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of fleet vehicles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for fleet management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for fleet operations.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to track fleet performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, transportation management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fleet management, transportation services, or a related field, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams, developing and implementing strategies, and driving results.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
