Coatings Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Coatings Specialist to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for applying coatings to truck bodies to meet customer specifications.

About the Role:

This is a 2nd shift position with a competitive hourly rate of $23.00-$25.00 depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) savings plan with company match.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply coatings to truck bodies using high-volume, low-pressure (HVL) paint guns and other specialized equipment">
• Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to ensure accurate application of coatings">
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures">
• Perform quality checks to ensure coatings meet customer specifications">
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience">
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or coating-related industry">
• Familiarity with HVL paint guns and other specialized coating equipment">
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders">
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills">
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment">
