About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Optic Network Specialist to join our team at Tekfortune Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex fiber optic networks in data centers across Richmond VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate fiber optic cables, connectors, and patch panels in accordance with industry standards.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting using OTDR, Fluke, and EFXO to identify and correct issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-speed network solutions.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fiber optic networking and installation.
  • Proficiency in terminating all connector types and methods for SMF and MMF systems.
  • Experience with mechanical and fusion splicing, OSP/Confined Space Entry.
