Grand Canyon University is seeking a dedicated Foundations Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty Member who is eager to impart their expertise to our Nursing students.
Location: Meridian, ID
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

What you will do:
Enhance theoretical knowledge by teaching in the context of clinical and laboratory applications related to pre-licensure Nursing.
Engage in the assessment of written assignments and clinical/lab performance evaluations.
Maintain open communication with program faculty and leadership, including participation in select faculty meetings.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the nursing field.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
Embrace the holistic nature of nursing as a profession while upholding the values of the University.
Travel to clinical sites to observe student performance firsthand.
What you will need:
Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
Active and unencumbered RN license in Idaho.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical, long-term care, or skilled nursing environments.
Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
Demonstrated involvement in professional activities (e.g., membership in professional organizations, presentations, research, and/or publications).
Successful completion of a drug screening is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students and preceptors.
Contribute to and support the university's mission in all areas, demonstrating alignment with the institution's philosophy and community service.
Serve as a positive role model for students by endorsing the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
