About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Controls System Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure services team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure services with other AWS teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides for AWS infrastructure services.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and provide feedback to the development team.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Equity and Benefits

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
