Certified Anesthesia Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team of 20 CRNAs. Our Anesthesia Care Team model allows for collaboration and teamwork in a wide range of locations and specialties, including our 47 ORs, out-of-OR locations, OB, and surgi-center in Foxborough. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients pre-anesthesia and develop effective anesthesia plans.
- Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies as needed.
- Administer general anesthesia and adjuvant drugs, as well as regional and neuraxial anesthesia.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
- Certification by the Council on Certification or recertification by the Council on Recertification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Skills and Competencies:
- Pre-anesthesia assessment and planning.
- Requesting and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- General anesthesia and adjuvant drugs administration.
- Regional and neuraxial anesthesia placement and monitoring.
- Sedation techniques and cardiopulmonary resuscitation management.
- Invasive and non-invasive placement and monitoring, including CVC and PACs.
- Airway management techniques and mechanical ventilation/oxygen therapy.
- Blood, blood products, and plasma expanders management.
- Peripheral intravenous and arterial catheter placement.
- Acute and chronic pain therapy and post-anesthesia care/discharge.
