About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laminator Operator to join our team at Amcor plc. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for operating laminator equipment to produce high-quality packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate laminator equipment to run in accordance with written specifications, including manufacturing specs, customer specs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Record and store retains, and determine how often film samples need to be taken, prepare samples, and take to QA lab for testing.
  • Visually inspect web for defects, which will then be flagged, and change glue filters as needed.
  • Adjust machine specifications, pressures, and equipment for each new job, and perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
  • Good computer skills, good organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to interact effectively and professionally with co-workers in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs, frequent stepping up and down platforms, occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending, and frequent use of hands and wrists.
