Dishroom Attendant

At Brigantine Restaurants, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen.

• Maintain the dish area, ensuring all dishware, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Clean and organize the back of house, including coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
• Clean floors and remove garbage in front of house and back of house, restrooms, and parking lot.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Accept or reject ingredients from suppliers.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.

• No experience required; we offer on-the-job training.
• A desire to help where needed and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knives for chopping, slicing, cutting, and dicing.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, wipe, and handle extreme heat for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Food Handler Certification.
