Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Panera Bread. As a key member of our bakery-cafe team, you will be responsible for leading our staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Assist guests with their orders and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our bakery-cafe team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure that our restaurant meets the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with our management team to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Proven experience in a food service or retail environment, with a strong track record of leadership and customer service.
  • Aptitude to learn and implement industry-leading food safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
