Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Meijer. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to our customers.

• Interact with patients at various service points of contact, providing friendly and remarkable customer service to enhance overall patient health.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
• Input customer and prescription information into the pharmacy dispensing system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory, ensuring timely and accurate dispensing.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Stock prescription medication, maintaining a well-organized and efficient inventory system.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered and/or licensed as required in the state of practice.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient typing skills and neat handwriting.
• Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately calculate and manage inventory.
