Maintenance Coordinator

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our kaolin clay processing facility.

Responsibilities:

* Process purchase orders and work orders, and maintain related records
* Research and negotiate with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications
* Evaluate the need for replacement parts and place orders
* Assign work orders and issue various EHS permits
* Provide routine administrative support

Requirements:

* Minimum high school diploma or GED
* Two-year technical degree or related experience preferred
* Experience in preventive maintenance programs, inventory management, materials control procedures, and the purchasing of maintenance- and office-related supplies, parts, and tooling
* Proficient on computers and experience with Microsoft Office applications, including accurate data entry skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Exceptional organizational and planning skills necessary to be successful

Working Conditions:

* Work is performed in a production environment
* Position requires lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis
* Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb up to 70 feet
* Able to operate hand and foot controls simultaneously
* Manual dexterity required for operation of hand controls and/or computer keyboard
* Good vision and hearing are also required
