Job Summary

The Solar PV Lead Installer is responsible for managing and overseeing the installation of solar energy systems. This individual will lead a team of installers and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solar energy systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of solar installers to ensure successful project completion
  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules to meet customer needs and expectations
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide solutions that meet their requirements
  • Ensure that all installations are completed to the highest quality standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, technologies, and best practices to ensure that the company remains competitive and innovative
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in solar energy installation or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
  • Ability to work at heights, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
