Dispatcher - High Volume Service Team - Full Time / Hourly

JOIN THE LEN THE PLUMBER HEATING AND AIR TEAM

This is a Full Time Hourly position, primarily conducted in an office environment.

We are currently seeking to fill dispatcher roles within our service team.

Working Hours:

Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with one weekend shift required each month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the schedules of service technicians and assign jobs as service requests are completed.
  • Coordinate follow-up visits with customers to ensure completion of tasks after parts arrive.
  • Maintain the on-call schedule for technicians and oversee after-hours service protocols.
  • Input service requests, schedule appointments, and generate daily debriefs with technicians.
  • Keep the customer database updated with accurate and comprehensive information.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding service availability, timelines, and invoicing.
  • Respond to requests from service technicians through online platforms and phone communications.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance appointments for customers.
  • Review and finalize service work orders for accuracy.
  • Prepare invoices and timecards for processing.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training sessions.
  • Effectively manage client concerns through clear communication and resolution strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, with strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with the service area and/or proficiency in map reading.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
