Job Overview

Position Summary:

Empire Netting and Fence is seeking a dedicated individual to take on a leadership position within our sports netting division. This role is ideal for a construction-oriented professional who is willing to travel nationwide to install netting systems. The perfect candidate will possess strong self-motivation, exceptional leadership abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Empire specializes in the installation of netting systems for various levels of sports, including Major League, Minor League, collegiate, high school, and municipal ballparks throughout the United States.

We provide accommodations for employees during travel and offer a daily per diem of $40 in addition to your salary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team with a positive and motivating approach
  • Train and mentor team members in the necessary skills
  • Adhere to project plans and specifications
  • Install large-diameter poles securely
  • Hang cables and nets from installed poles
  • Keep the work area and tools organized and clean
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

· Authorization to work in the United States is required

· A valid driver's license is essential; a CDL is advantageous

· Consistent and punctual attendance is expected

· Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including prolonged standing, working in confined spaces and at heights, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted

· Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

· Availability to work Monday through Friday, with potential weekends and overtime as needed

· Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools

· Capability to operate heavy machinery, such as skid loaders and telescoping boom lifts

Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Compensation: $27.00 per hour
