Family Practice Physician Job OpportunityAya Locums is seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician to join our team for a 26-week locum tenens assignment in Pollok, TX. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and earn a competitive hourly rate of $115-$130.
Job Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, document medical histories, and address patient inquiries and concerns.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and manage injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions, and communicate results to patients.
- Diagnostic Testing: Conduct, analyze, and interpret diagnostic tests, and communicate results to patients.
- Record Keeping: Keep patient records current by updating information and treatments.
- Treatment Planning: Develop treatment plans and recommendations for patients.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Professional Development: Stay up to date with advances in medicine and best practices.
- Physician License: An active and unencumbered physician license in the state of employment (Aya Locums can assist with obtaining a new license if needed).
- Board Certification: Board certification or eligibility for certification in a specialty relevant to the role (highly preferred).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Diagnostic and Clinical Decision-Making: Experienced in diagnostic and clinical decision-making.
- Communication: Effectively communicates with others.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Patient-Centered Care: Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Technology: Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and technology.
- Shift Schedule: 5, 8-Hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Medical Degree: A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
- Residency Program: Completed residency program in your chosen specialty.
- CME Activities: Continuing medical education (CME) activities to maintain medical licenses.
