Job Summary:

Bronson Battle Creek is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery, Antepartum or Mother/Baby team on a part-time or PRN basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
  • Analyze assessment data to identify patient problems or issues
  • Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes
  • Implement the identified plan, including administering prescribed medication and treatment
  • Evaluate progress toward attainment of expected outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and use the results to initiate changes in nursing practice
  • Attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice
  • Evaluate one's own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines
  • Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and others in the conduct of nursing practice
  • Integrate ethical provisions in all areas of practice
  • Integrate research findings into practice
  • Consider factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in the planning and delivery of nursing services
  • Provide leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, must obtain within 8 years of hire
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Michigan
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification through PQF or NCC required within 6 months of completing intermediate fetal monitoring
