Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our PACE center. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the operations of activities, nutrition, personal care, clinical services, rehabilitation, and other services of the center within program standards and regulations.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the adequacy of equipment and supplies, and oversee equipment maintenance, scheduling, replacement, and repair.
  • Ensure that infection control, fire safety, and related safety procedures are followed.
  • Provide input and assist the Center Director with morning meetings for the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Work with the Center Director to ensure documentation of team meetings is maintained and changes are recorded in individual care plans.
  • Conduct monthly chart audits for administrative components, ensuring records are updated and accurate and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for general management oversight of day care personnel in the center, including interviewing, hiring, orienting, training, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating staff as needed.
  • Ensure staffing is maintained at the appropriate levels to provide safe and effective care.
  • Coordinate orientation and oversee in-service programs for staff to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to review goals, trends, and performance measures to facilitate change as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a health administration field or combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of management experience in a community-based program caring for older adults.
  • One year of experience working with a frail or elderly population is required.
  • Experience in a PACE program highly desirable.
  • Able to plan, direct, and organize the work of others.
  • Able to interpret State and Federal requirements as they apply to the program.
  • Skilled in building strong working relationships and in team development.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations.
Certifications and Licenses
  • CPR Certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Automobile insurance.
Work Environment

The primary setting for this role is an office environment with moderate noise. Employees may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions when transporting and helping.
