About the Role

This is a full-time position working nights with an estimated salary of $32.67 - $48.97 per hour, plus a night shift differential of $4.18 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

The Imaging Diagnostic Technologist will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians. This will involve positioning and instructing patients prior to examination, adjusting the x-ray equipment, and determining proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph.

  • Positions patients for imaging exams and monitors patients to ensure safety during exams.
  • Produces diagnostic images and documents exam information.
  • Verifies exams on PACS and reports important information to the physician.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred).
  • A valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification.
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Healthcare Provider BLS OR RQI-BLS certification.
