We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Technician to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. As a Survey Technician, you will assist the Survey Project Manager in the execution of various public sector survey assignments. You will work with other technicians and direct field crews to complete small and large-scale transportation projects.
Responsibilities- Coordinate with field crews and other technicians to monitor project responsibilities
- Conduct right-of-way and property research and drafting
- Process field survey data
- Perform boundary analysis for route surveys
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong technical skills, including experience with Microstation and/or Geopak
- Experience with DOT survey requirements and procedures
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Strong experience in right-of-way mapping is highly preferred
