This role will be responsible for ordering and maintaining investigational drugs, maintaining accurate reports and established record keeping systems, preparing, packaging, labeling, and distributing drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Investigational Pharmacist Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Order and maintain investigational drugs
- Maintain accurate reports and established record keeping systems
- Prepare, package, label, and distribute drug products
- Perform data entry and filing associated with the process
- Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy preparing sterile I.V. admixtures
- At least 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Degree or certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
