Estimated Salary: $42 - $46 per hour


Job Requirements

">

This position requires a graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA program and current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA or equivalent in the states where services are rendered. CPR certification is also required when necessary.


What You Will Do

">

You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement patient care plans for rehabilitation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide quality, compassionate care to mentally and/or physically impaired patients, helping them to participate in tasks that restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing patient care plans for rehabilitation under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Providing quality, compassionate care to mentally and/or physically impaired patients
  • Communicating patient progress or problems to supervisors and other team members
  • Assisting with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
  • Documenting patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
  • Instructing patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
  • Maintaining equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
