Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a challenging 13-week assignment in New York.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners and other diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners and other diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body
  • Assess patient needs and take necessary steps to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective patient care
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on diagnostic imaging equipment

Requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Radiation Technologist
  • Current certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation Package

The compensation package includes a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, paid time off after 1560 hours, highly competitive pay, best-in-the-industry medical, dental, and vision benefits, short-term disability, 401(k), and an aggressive refer-a-friend bonus program.
