Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Universal Healthcare Resources.

Job Summary:

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and record patient information, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans and assist patients with therapeutic activities.
  • Instruct patients and their families on treatment programs and provide encouragement.
  • Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the relevant state.
  • COVID vaccination and health documents.
