Job Title: Data Engineer

At Get Glowing, we're seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that enables our organization to leverage data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Integration: Design and implement efficient data pipelines to collect data from various sources, including databases, APIs, external data providers, and streaming sources.
  • Data Storage and Management: Choose appropriate database systems, optimize data schemas, and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes: Design ETL pipelines to transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis.
  • Big Data Technologies: Work with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark to efficiently process and analyze massive datasets.
  • NoSQL Databases: Work with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra, which are well-suited for handling unstructured or semi-structured data.
  • Cloud Computing: Leverage cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions.
  • Distributed Systems: Understand how distributed systems work and design architectures to handle huge data volumes and ensure fault tolerance.
Requirements:
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data architecture and design principles.
  • NoSQL Databases: Knowledge of NoSQL databases and their applications.
