Position Summary:
As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for executing welding tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Work Schedule:
4 days a week, 10-hour shifts with extended weekends.
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3 AM (includes a 10% pay differential)
Initial Training:
First Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and layout welding jobs according to blueprints and specifications.
- Operate machinery for trimming, sizing, forming, inspecting, and welding materials.
- Perform welding in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift weights between 25-45 lbs.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- U.S. person status is required.
- Prior TIG welding experience is preferred but not mandatory.
