Job Title: Retail Cafe Manager

At Compass Group Careers, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of a licensed, franchised Starbucks location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing staff, finances, inventory, and ensuring compliance with Starbucks standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, staff, and scheduling to deliver excellent customer service and maximize business performance.
  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the success of the location.
  • Ensure compliance with Starbucks and company policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost controls to optimize profitability.
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards, adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Implement promotions and marketing efforts to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Act as the main point of contact with the client, building strong relationships and resolving any issues promptly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Starbucks GM or AGM Certification is required.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in inventory management and financial reporting.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred, but not required.
