  • Possess reading skills necessary to interpret production orders and identify specific plates for each job, as well as understand materials and reports.
  • Accurately distinguish subtle color variations to match samples and order specifications.
  • Lift heavy components (50-75 pounds) without assistance and manage heavier loads (100-300 pounds) with mechanical aids.
  • Utilize measuring tools and apply general math skills for various measurements.
  • Demonstrate spatial awareness to follow operational guidelines and understand machinery layouts.
  • Exhibit agility to navigate the press environment, including climbing and adjusting equipment safely.
  • Maintain sharp reflexes to respond quickly to moving machinery and ensure personal and team safety.
  • Utilize olfactory and auditory senses to detect material odors and follow safety signals.
  • Follow detailed instructions independently and communicate operational issues effectively to supervisors.
  • Develop mechanical knowledge of press operations, including components like rollers and tension controls.
