Hours: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Compensation: $12.00/Hour

Job Overview: This role involves executing cleaning duties as instructed by the designated project manager or supervisor. Responsibilities are primarily focused on maintaining cleanliness in office spaces and shared facilities. Duties encompass a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, waste disposal, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing. Work is typically conducted after standard business hours and as directed by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum carpets and hard surface floors; sweep and mop as required.
  • Sanitize restrooms thoroughly.
  • Clean sinks, countertops, toilets, and restroom stall walls.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and communal areas as needed.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners; clean bins as necessary.
  • Dust and clean office desks and furnishings.
  • Wash windows and clean window sills.
  • Keep janitorial closets organized and safe.
  • Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment consistently.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Properly label, dilute, and utilize all cleaning chemicals.
  • Report any equipment damage to the project manager or crew leader.
  • Communicate maintenance needs to the project manager or crew leader.
  • Operate electric floor maintenance equipment as instructed.
  • Maintain hard floors according to specified standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to follow verbal instructions.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning products and willingness to learn about Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Maintain a productivity rate of 90% or higher.
