Job Summary

Under moderate supervision, performs a variety of patient care activities for patients assigned to Nursing Units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides patient care activities under the delegated authority and supervision from the Registered Nurse.
  • Works consistently with the Annotated Code of Maryland.
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Maryland.
  • Must have a current BLS certification.
  • Telemetry and ICCU PCT must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and/or course and have the ability to recognize critical rhythms and seek intervention within six months of employment.
Requirements

To qualify for the position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Maryland required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Telemetry and ICCU PCT must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and/or course and have the ability to recognize critical rhythms and seek intervention within six months of employment.
