Patient Care Technician I

Under moderate supervision, performs a variety of patient care activities for patients assigned to Nursing Units.
Key Responsibilities- Provides patient care activities under the delegated authority and supervision from the Registered Nurse.
- Works consistently with the Annotated Code of Maryland.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Maryland.
- Must have a current BLS certification.
- Telemetry and ICCU PCT must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and/or course and have the ability to recognize critical rhythms and seek intervention within six months of employment.
To qualify for the position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Maryland required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Telemetry and ICCU PCT must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and/or course and have the ability to recognize critical rhythms and seek intervention within six months of employment.
