Job Title: Endoscope Reprocessing Technician

Job Summary:

The Endoscope Reprocessing Technician is responsible for preparing and maintaining medical facilities, instruments, equipment, and sterile environments necessary for gastroenterology procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and high-level disinfect endoscopy equipment after procedures
  • Order and maintain supplies for the endoscopy department
  • Perform eye wash testing and quality control tests on equipment
  • Assist with sterile processing technician duties in the perioperative area
  • Participate in perioperative call rotation

Requirements:

  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • CER certification within 1 year of hire
  • CRCST certification within 2 years of hire
  • Minimum 2 years of current CNA experience

Work Environment:

The Endoscope Reprocessing Technician will work in a fast-paced medical environment, with frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly is essential for this role.
